After three hours, I saw one of my best male friends, Jeanseb, standing at the end of platform at Gare du Nord Station. It's soooo great to see him again because we haven't had fun together for three years and I have been waiting for the day we see each other again, and of course thx to him for providing me a place to stay in Paris. We put down my luggage in his tiny but super warm flat in Gentilly. When we got to his flat he said to me, "alright Angela, where do you wanna sleep? You can sleep on the sofa or you can sleep with me. However I woke up early in the morning and I go there and there and make a lot of noises haha." "OK I'll sleep with you." After that we visited Cathedrale de Notre Dame de Paris. The weather was nice and there were so many ppl (maybe because it was Sunday). It took me 30 minutes to get in, but it's worth. Pay attention to the details on the glass window, they are superbly colorful and beautiful (especially on such a nice weather with sunlight penetrating into the cathedral)!

we hanged around the city. It's nice to see ppl playing classicla music in the city, especially when the surrounding was so romantic and scenic. After walking for over an hr, we thought going to Concorde on foot was a Mission Impossible, so we decided to travel with Subway. He showed me around some high-end jewellery shops, which for me, never buy anything from it unless I won a lottery. Then we moved on to Arc de Triomphe before we went (window) shopping at Champs-Elysées. Now here is better. At least I can really buy something.
Then we headed back to his flat and had our early and long dinner. We opened a bottle of white wine, and had some peanuts and carrots with salsa, one of my favorite sauce. Next was the main course, a choice between linguine and sandwiches. As a big fan of pasta, of course I chose the front. Right, how did he make it? Very simple --> put some water in the pot, put some butter, put the linguine into the pot, hard boiled it, and done!! I was stunned. Pal I wanted to tell you, this is not the way to deal with
good pasta!! I'm not a great cook, but at least I know I need to put some sauce to make it better. Luckily he had cheese and ham and the pasta was hot enough to mix them well. He cooked too much that we needed to reserve some for the next day. But I still thank him a lot, because I'm really lazy to do cooking. It's my first time to have a boy who cooked for me. lol And this is him, a warm and hospitable friend who tried all means to make u feel easy at his place. So, this is my first dinner in France.
Sleeping time came two or three hrs later. It's great that he got a pair of earplug or he would wake up because of me. lol Yet about ten minutes later I knew why he needed them. The clock above the bed was so noisy...tic tac tic tac...how long did I take to sleep? I had no idea.
