French Flag
Two matching arms of museums stand across the river and up a tree lined park from the Eiffel Tower. This flag is atop one of the arms that partially enclose the park, which is as high as the first level of the Tower. The architecture here is amazing.

Goodbye Washington
Turning northeast and heading over the north cascades toward Canada. The mountains are still topped with snow in July.

Relaxing at the bottom
Apples and cookies make a good snack after climbing the steps to the second level. You can barely see the flag from the previous picture under the arch on the right side.
