Helsinki is a stark contrast from the old capital, Turku. It changed my initial impression of Finland. Helsinki is such a happening place.
Definitely a place worth visiting.

The Helsinki card is worth buying. At 30 Euro (if purchased online) it provides free transportation on the public tram and buses, and even on the public ferries. In addition, it also provides free admission to several museums in Helsinki. The Helsinki card also provides 1 free audio tour around the city. but this has to be booked in advance. I managed to secure a seat when I collected the card at the train station.

Uspensky Orthodox Cathedral

Temppeliaukio Church outside
Quarried out of the natural bedrock, Temppeliaukio Church is one of Helsinki's most popular tourist attractions. The interior walls are created naturally by the rock. The church was designed by architects Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen and opened in 1969. Due to its excellent acoustics the church is a popular venue for concerts

My flight home
Not exactly the aircraft to take me back home.. It was parked next to it.. But both are heading to the same destination.
