Kiasma is situated in the center of Helsinki, somewhere in between Kamppi (trade center, bus and metro station) and Central Railway Station.
It looks like it is supposed to be - modern building with curve roof and wave walls, a lot of free space and flat scales. Many authors and creators are collected in such a place - total collection embraced Middle Asia, Russia and Finland. It was so nice and surprisingly unexpected to see lots of photo (which are pretending to be modern and unusually creative) from Kazakhstan. Watching those pictures I was thinking that I am not in Finland, but somewhere far from here, at home!
So, fortunately Finland is a country full of surprises. Even after we had left the museum, we saw several objects of art (see photo as an example). It were shoes (trainers mostly) hanging on torchlight, at least three of them had it.
