Tish boards the Ryan Air flight in Bublin bound for Copenhagen, Denmark Today is just a day of travel as we move our holiday from Ireland to the Baltic Sea so our journey started at 5:00 am as we packed the remaining of our belongings, loaded the bags into the car and commenced the 3 hour drive to Dublin Airport on the N8, N7 and M50. We allowed an hour and a half to drop off the rental car given the time it took to pick it up but dropping a car off at Dublin airport is much more efficient than picking one up and within 15 minutes, we were on the shuttle bus toward terminal almost 3 hours before our flight.
We left Dublin on a dreary overcast day but arrived in Copenhagen to warm bright sunshine. After collecting or baggage, we caught the train directly to Osterport station and a short walk later we were at the front door of our hotel which is only manned until 4:00 pm but we were able to use an access code and retrieve our key cards and gain access to our rooms. After a short rest, we ventured out for a look around our neighbourhood which is just north of the downtown area

We take off and leave the Emerald Isle after a wonderful week in Cork having a bite to eat at a donar kebab joint. Copenhagen is all about cycling with the roads dominated by cyclists, at least around the area where our hotel is located. After a very early rise this morning, we were both exhausted and called it a night around 10:30 pm
