again at Charles Bridge
see the differences of me by comparing my blog i made 2 years ago lol Dobry Den!! Since my czech is going backward i'll tell bout my previous experience in english. After those tough school exams i'd decided to spend my winter visiting Central European again ( yeah last time was too impressive to forget). As usual, to get to know people is to learn their languages and to obtain further inside into their culture. Learning polish for 1 month wasnt a bad idea actually but the time table of those courses didnt allow me to manage my time wisely, so instead of studying polish, i choosed cesky(czech). My trip was filled with surprises: Two of thai friends living in St.PEtersburg joined me in Czech Republik and we did sight seeing together. With everything has been bought in advance, we were quite sure that nothing would go wrong. Visa process went by quickly enough not to be able to realize ourselves the day we had to leave from St.Petersburg. Prague was superb as last time i visited, we thought. We continued our day-trips to neibourhood cities: Cesky Krumlov(excellent), Kutna Hora(interesting and good food),. Then we headed to Hungary, Budapest... and it finally happened!! our flight with Smartswing was cancelled ( well, u should have known
in Malostranka
Pae and Dew are trying to call me before hands that this is Lowcost airline lol) just that we were not informed from the agency by which we bought ticket. We were sitting at the Ruzhnek airport and my two friends really had to get their feets out of Czech Republik that day. (yes i was still welcomed to stay at that time with my valid visa) and we were transfered to TRANZIT airport and asked friendly to spend a night there. WHO Would be stupid enough 2 say no?? we had free internet connection, good food and very extraordinary good room lol. the day after we arrived 2 hours before and we were told that it was such a mistake from our personal staff to let you stay in that hotel because the company did send email to that tourist agency. So we called to check if russian agency could help us in such case... what a waste of money for those calls.. russians didnt help a lot with saying that that email was in czech topic and they ignored it as a junk mail... as a result we bough ticket with Portugal air flying stop over Budapest... .. About Budapest i'd better split up the block.
hostel where we stayed
clean place and friendly old-lady-type staff lol at least we did had fun After trip to Budapest i fled back to Prague again but this time headed further to Brno where i supposed to stay for 2 weeks. Brno has relatively small city center and it can be all seen within walking distance. Before arriving in Brno i stayed in Olomouc, which is also considerated as a cultural capital of Moravia. The city itselfs does gives student atmoshpere like Leuven in Belgium. On sunday the city is like cemetry with no living creature lol is fcuking quiet and dead. Then i took train back to Brno. Course started and i attended regularly (what an idea to study on my holiday again!!). I could catch up quite quickly thanks to those similarities between russian and czech and i finished with 99 percents(yeah something i could be proud of) actually those rules just repeat and follow all those steps of learning i did with russian. My classmates are Nick, who has czech gf, Scot,Linda and somebody else who have relation with czech people on way or another but.. what do i have? lol just a curiousity? well that might do!!!. i must say that i had such a great unexpected time in Czech. Party was
Cesky Krumlov
top view of the city cheap, beers are high quality and inexpensive. 100 czech crown in Moravia you can have superb meal with great beer. Shopping is fun.. weather is always fine with some sunshine during the day. People are extremely friendly and i could feel their hospitality. When i tried to speak czech, people tried their best to make themselve understandable and my czech went quite fast after those 10 days in class. Pity that i've forgot lotz of everything now but i really hope that one day i can go back to study in Czech Republik, or at least have something to do with this country cause i was really impressed by my visit. I started to bend with the moravian and bohemian, read their literature masterpiece , such as Sveik soldiers and also those books expat wrote about this country...... and the czech beers... The last few days my czech friend took me around those small little villages, quiet and beautiful landscape... i'm sure this memory about this country will last long and if i'm luckky, i'll be back here again!! may be next year to do my master degree? Who knows...
