First Snow of the Year!
A November Sunday morning on Charles Bridge It's been SOOOOO cold! And today is supposed to be a MAXIMUM of (brrrr....)
minus 12! Fortunately, a bit of snow here and there, and the Christmas - New Year festivities have distracted us from the fact that it is dark at 4pm! We got our first snow late November, and despite forecasts of a white Christmas it was not to be. 😞 Even so, Christmas in Prague is beautiful.
Christmas Day was an American-Australian affair (Dan, Eliza & Michelle; then Barry, Sarah & us). What that means is we had a big 7kg Turkey with mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, but also had bon-bons and a game of cricket in the street.
Then just after new years, the snow set in for a week, leaving Prague looking incredible. I don't care what my American friends say; I can't imagine ever getting sick of living in a snowy city!
Anyway, here just a few photos from the holiday season in Prague. Happy New Year! 😊
