A few days ago I visited Crikvenica in Croatia. It is amazing and I was so sad that the real summer hasn't still arrived and it was cold to swim.
It is a small town by the sea, with beautiful beaches (sand and/or stone), restaurants by the sea and everything you need is close and in the beautiful area where you can walk easily and still enjoy the sea view and sun.
The airport Rijeka is near the place (20 min drive) which is great. I am definitely going to visit again during the summer.
