I am sitting in the café at Skradinski Buk, an indescribable torrent of waterfalls. The others have gone for a boat trip, and I am skipping the experience and avoiding feeling ill. Louder than any of the many visitors is the cascading roar of the water. We were almost alone for the first hour of strolling amongst a lace of waterfalls. By the end of the second hour, we rejoiced that we had finish... Read Full Entry

The waterfall slideshow was spectacular and the waterfall at the end was magnificent! Of course it doesn't hurt that I absolutely LOVE waterfalls!

What fun. I love the waterfall slide show, especially the video at its end. An amazingly complex series of mesas or plateaus, or whatever they're called in waterfalls. Ledges? Anyway - striking. And the fishing (from the boat but also the dock) was an extraordinary surprise. What a huge net (albeit producing what looked like a small haul). And the weaver doggedly shuttling back and forth - not for me. On the other hand, I knit, which has a lot of repetitive activity in it too. As for that swan interaction, Gary looks like its trainer. That's a very focused swan.

What a delightful pic...like travelling in time. Reminds me what images I may never see in this World of Covid-19 travel restrictions. I have posted this pic in our "Cathedrals, grand churches, mosques & places of worship" thread in the Photography Forum. Check it out.
