We started our 2 week summer trip island hopping up the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia by flying into Dubrovnik. A picturesque town with an ancient walled citadel encasing countless marble paved streets and vein like alleyways that disappear off the main thoroughfare, called The Stradun.
Pleasant people, great weather, rich culture and Italian influenced Adriatic/Meditteranean cuisine. All in all, a great destination.
After Dubrovnik, it's off to the Islands of Korcula and Hvar then making land again in Split ("Come on Goran!!") before heading up the coast to fly back from Zadar aka ancient Zara.
