Bruges

Actually, we went to Bruges, but it is not on the pick list. We took a train from Amsterdam to Antwerp and then changed trains to Bruges. Of course, Andrea knew people on our train car for the first leg. We are traveling with an insane amount of luggage so we broke down and took the first Taxi instead of walking ten minutes on medieval cobble stone to our apartment. We would never have found it on our own. Bruges is much bigger than we thought, an quite frankly a confusing maze of streets. We explored, shopped in the market, climbed the bell tour, toured the canals by boat, ate waffles, shopped for chocolate, sampled Belgium beer and (finally!) toured a brewery (ZOT).
