having mastered the trams, tubes and buses (maybe i shoulda payed attention in german class!!), we got to the Schonbrunn palace, and wow, its huge!! cant upload photos at the moment, but you'll get them when we can. lovely palace, used to be a summer hunting lodge for the habsburg family, and what a 'lodge' it is too. lovely gardens, and the biggest water garden feature you will ever see - Charlie Dimmock eat your heart out!!

we did the james bond thing last night, and went on the giant ferris wheel in the prater park, and started to watch "the fly" in the open air at half nine, as part of a film festival - a different horror film every night for a month, and its still warm at that time of night!! was great atmosphere, but shame about the film.....

we'll get pictures when we can, and will write soon.

take care y'all!!!
