As I walked through the streets of Vienna I realized how great and imperial the entire city is. It is pretty cool to walk on Graben (1st district) around the corner to Kohlmarkt, which is Vienna's most expensive shopping street. Yes, you can find high-end designers, however the scene is more of a "has been baker/taylor/silver smith to the royal palace", which is just up the road. Buildings aren't too tall so the whole city has a very laid back atmosphere and relaxedness to it I really like. Now I can understand why Viennese spend that much time in coffeehouses and just enjoy....what a great attitude.
