This was the first time that I teared up over the sight of shoes, in sadness.

In there ´free time´, the people of the camp were able to walk ´freely´from house to house.

New arrivals to the camp were chained to this wall for hours, days, and months.... as long as the officers felt like keeping them there.

If you didn´t know, the officers would often carry out an execution by telling the prisoners that they were taking a shower, instead of water they poured gas into the room, killing those inside.

It was hard to perceive what it was like to live in this room, however the beds were small, and the room looked fit for 75 bunks. In reality, they would sleep up to 300 people per room.
