Siting in the sun
Myself and Ozzie taking a break We then moved accross to a resort called St. Anton in the next valley. St. Anton is regarded as one of the top 5 snow resorts in the world. It certainlay had a massive ski area and some great runs, but its a pity so many other people know it is one of the worlds top 5 as it was very busy, we were allmost bumping into people coming down some of the runs!
Some friends of ours, Ozzie, Fiona and Will, joined us for the week there and we got to stay in an apartment for a week instead of our van. The heating was a big bonus to us! The first thing Shilpa and Fiona noticed were number of stuffed animals all over the appartment!
One evening Dara and Ozzie decided to put all the animals outside the living room door to scare the girls. Unfortunatly the land lady came down during dinner and found the animals in strange positions outside the door. It was very difficult for us to keep a straight face!!
We had some fantastic days boarding, cooking and drinking wine that week. Dara and Ozzie even managed some nice 180 jumps

Dinner out for Ozzies Birthday
This was a cool pizza place with a lot hustle bussle and a great atmosphere. Great Pizzas too.in the snowpark.
The only downer of the week was that Shilpa got the flu and we had some brake problems in the van that we had to get fixed.
The week after we stayed on in St. Anton at a very nice campsite. Everybody else at the campsite had pretty fancy campers with heat and TVs and DVDs. I think they all thought we were a bit mad in our small van with no heat. Maybe we were!! One morning we saw the temperature in town at -11, and so even colder that night with only hot water bottles to keep us warm. Our water canister had bits of ice in it, our cooking oil was solid, the only thing not frozen was our beer and vodka!!

You wait
Good week! but you wait - before you know it you will be back working hard, 9-5, like the rest of us. Good job you seem to be making the best use of your time while you are not. Keep in touch - see you if you pass through the midlands on your way back to Eire
