We arrived early on Thursday morning, super humid. We found our way to our Boutique hotel in San Juan called Coral Princess Inn, I read rave reviews about this little place and we were not dissapointed AT ALL! We were able to check in early, upgraded us to the suit and the complemetary breakfast provided every morning was amazing (for being free), crossiants, danishes, yougurt, fresh orange juice, coffee, water, sliced ham, cheese, cream cheese, coffee cake, fresh fruit and delicious pastries. We didn't use the hotels pool because it was almost all covered by shade. We took it up ourselves to take a 3 minute stroll over to the Marrito Hotel & Casino where the pool is awesome with a bar in it. The beach is right in front of the pool as well. After our dip we grabed a taxi to Old San Juan. San Juan is very beautiful, tiny walk ways through stores, small cobble stone streets and gorgeous brightly painted buildings. Great place to sit in the shad, relax and people watch. We had coffee at a small Kiosko in the main court yard area of the small bussling Old Town. There were lots of tourist in this area since the port of call for all the cruise ships is about 4 blocks away. We had dinner at a small Puerto Rican/Mexican resturant. I cant remember the name.. it was something like.. "Uncle _____". Over priced and not all that great.

Our first night of dinner we tried an Argentenian Resturant named "Buenos Aires".... it was WONDERFUL. The food was great, I'd say for a couple you'd spend about $50.

We woke up bright and early and took our rental car on our journey to Fajardo on the east coast where the port is located for Culebra. I suggest you arrive early to purchase your ticket for the ferry. I ended up paying off a local teenager who was already in line to purchase 2 tickets for us. While you are in the area waiting to get on the ferry you will hear an old man yelling out something strange, he is selling dramamine. Once you embark make sure you find a comfy spot, we prefered the back of the boat, the a/c was blasting in the cabin so it was much too cold. The back fills up fast so hurry scurry. Once you dock

hurry to find a taxi/van who are all waiting outside to take a van FULL to Flamenco beach. It is about an 8 minute ride. If you plan on snorkleing I'd suggest bringing your own equipment, I read up online that there was a little area where you can rent the gear. When I asked the vendor if I could rent, he told me he doesnt know where anything is and all the kids buried the gear. Wtf? .. ok so our only option was to purchase his high prices NEW gear. Thats a negative! So on we went to the beach, AMAZING. The water was so clear that we were in chest deep and i was still able to see the color of my toe nail polish. We relaxed and laid out the entire day. The ferry departed back around 5pm I believe so we packed up at 4 and headed back to the port. There are a few little hole in the wall stores, one souvineer shop has tons of over priced goods with a woman who worked with a terrible sour attitude (White American Woman). I kept going on to this little resturant that was closed and

under construction but had a window opening with drinks for sale. The little old lady working inside had 2 items to offer. Empanadas de carne OR empanadas de pescado. They were both delicious. The line can get pretty long since she is the only one working and goes back and fourth from back of kitchen to window to make them by hand. As we arrived back it was near dusk and we drove our way back to our hotel. We then took a walk all around San Juan. We were too tired to party it up in all the trendy little bars and clubs. (will do next time!)

Our trip to Puerto Rico was amazing! I will write more later.

Pics are up so feel free to ask us questions.
