Roatan Island is located on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the largest barrier reef in the Caribbean Sea ,second largest worldwide after Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Roatan belongs to Bay islands which consist of Roatan, Utila and Guanaja. It is 50km off the north coast of Honduras. Spectacular diving and snorkeling draws visitors from around the world. I think that Roatan is the best island that I have visited so far. It is more better than Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora, other Caribbean Islands, Phi Phi island, Bermuda....because Roatan has more spectacular figures than the others such as: Hills, Rain forests, 100km reef surrounding with turquoise sea water, so many resorts in the small island with each resort occupying a small separate island, under water museum, 3 person submarine…and more mosquitoes here too.
