Just to make things clear, Im not out of the country again, though I would sure like to be. I have a idea that I have been spreading some word around and I wanted to start to make some final plans up. Heres the plan.

I am going to plan a trip down to Utila from around the 29th of July through August 6th. Utila is an Island in the Carribean that I have been to over 7 times in the last 4 years. Its a magical place that will be totally different than anywhere you have ever been. This is not a typical Sandals type vacation, which I despise, but a journey through paradise with Reed Whiting as your guide. I will have everything lined up ahead of time and we will even have access to a boat from time to time. This week is a great time to go because it is during the Sun Jam festival, which is a big party on a deserted island with some of the best djs from around the world. (www.sunjamutila.com) During this week the island will be hopping with backpackers (defined as kids and adults from 18-35 traveling the world in search of stuff) all over the place. It will be a great atomsphere as far as partying goes and there also alot of things to do. To check out Utila go to www.aboututila.com. The scuba diving and snorkeling here is of the best in the world and it is also one of the best places to see whale sharks. There is also great fishing and a bunch of cool bars and restaurants. On the way down we fly through La Ceiba, Honduras and there are some class 3-4 rapids there which are a great whitewater rafting experience. Its pretty intense as you raft by boulders as big as a small house in the middle of the rainforest. I was looking at flights and we should be able to get something for around 600 out of minneapolis. As far as other expenses you shoudl be able to keep things under 400 for food, lodging, booze, and activitires. That is unless you decide to get certified for scuba diving which would be a great idea if your not already. Its one of the cheapest places in the world to get set up at around 200 for the 3 day course. After that you can dive anywhere in the world. Here is the general plan I have

July 29 - fly into La ceiba and spend the night near the Rio Cangrajai
July 30 - Whitewater Raft the River, Check out the Rainforest and Head for Utila
July 31-Aug 3 - Get settled in Utila Snorkle, Scuba Certification, Fish, Jet Ski, Relax, Party
Aug 4 - Sun Jam Festival
Aug 5 - recover
Aug 6 - Fly back to the real world
