June 14 - meeting

Another meeting at the UN compound for the Food Program. This time, I knew exactly where the meeting was to be held, since I had done such a thorough reconnaissance mission last week! Can't fool me more than once (LOL). It was interesting to meet other NGO representatives that are managing camps and/or participating in food distribution programs. There was even a program that is distributing milk to children. It continues to amaze me how many people or organizations have been called by God to be here. Perhaps one can't do it all...but together, we are, indeed, moving mountains! At this point, we are being asked to identify and submit our long range priorities and goals. Instead of just focusing on present needs, we are beginning to look ahead to the future. Its a very positive sign.
