many of these pictures were given to me by other guides right before leaving quetzaltrekkers. they aren't the most stunning or interesting of pictures, but a lot of them capture the more meaningful moments of our volunteer time....late nights and early mornings on the treks, the back-of-a-pickup return trip to xela after the lago trek (after saying goodbye to clients!!!), hanging out with the kids, hanging out with the guides, doing nothing. there are great stories that go with every one (just not ones that i feel like writing currently).

like i said, they're not the most picturesque of moments, but they are certainly the ones that we miss (you could not pay me to go watch a gorgeous sunrise over lago atitlan right now).

update from mexico soon. well, not really....we miss guatemala and are headed back tomorrow. update from somewhere soon....
