All of us on the dock Hola Amigos! The last couple of days have been relaxing. We spent Thursday in San Pedro hoping to try a Hookah at The Buddha, but upon our arrival they informed us that they have suspended offering them due to theft and breakage from others. While waiting for the boat back to San Marcos Cole and I had the opportunity to play some hack with a local boy - it was fun and he clearly enjoyed playing with us.
Today was relaxed and for the most part we stayed around Pasaj Cap, with a small trip to San Marcos for some food and some fresh avocados for our dinner. Tomorrow we head for Antigua for two days and then Dad, Mom, Cole, and Jenaye will head back to Wisconsin while we continue on our journey - as of now we are thinking Copan in Honduras, but plans can change.
Each day I try to stay focused on how beautiful the area is - after awhile it is easy to become numb to the beauty of the lake and volcanoes, but staying in the moment has helped me stay in awe. I've always thought that Lake Superior was so gorgeous and
Que Bonita!
Gorgeous Amy perfect (and it is), the only thing it is missing is mountains. On the other hand, the mountains are so perfect except that they are missing a gorgeous lake like Lake Superior. Lago de Atitlan seems to bring both of them together and is an amazing and peaceful place. I hope that the rest of our journey brings views and peacefulness like Lake Atitlan has!
One last thought...as you read the blog and have questions or comments please feel free to post them. I hope to share more about our experiences and answer any questions you might have about our journey. Que te suenes con los angelitos!
