Day 2 in Solola

I worked with the construction crew today (Don Chema, Chema, Cruz, Marcario, Javier and Francisco). Moving dirt…Yeah it was exciting. I will never take a backhoe for granted again. We are trying to fill in the space behind a 15-20 foot wall so you can imagine how much dirt that takes. And it all has to get there by 5-gallon buckets up a ladder. My back is killing me but I am sure that I will be all right. The food is interesting, I keep telling myself “just eat it” and I have yet to come across anything that was not pleasantly surprising.
