Hello everyone!
Tuesday, was Dia de los Niños, which is day to celebrate young children (younger than 15 yrs). And of course we had a piñata with lots of candy! Every celebration they have them. Every Tuesday, at my house all of my family comes over which is around 25 people! They sure love their piñatas!
School is going good of course and everyday we have been working a big mural project together for next Monday, because it is Costa Ricas Independence Day! Im excited that Im going to be here for a holiday so I can experience how they celebrate holidays and see their parades too. Today, we had a mini lesson on fruits that are special to Costa Rica. We even got to try a bunch of the fruits!
And this weekend Im going to Montezuma, which is a beach about 5 hours from my house! Its supposed to be one of the best beaches in Costa Rica. We are staying in a really inexpensive hotel right on the beach! I will definitely add pictures after this weekend!
