Hello everyone. We are getting lazy with the blog, along with everything else. We are adapting to the tico lifestyle, slow and relaxed. Well, after Dominical we left for Orosi. We got to see everyone again and played some futball and taught the people of Orosi Yaniev. It was nice to relax in the colder climate of the mountains. On Thursday in Orosi we went to Magaly, the hostel cleaner's house for coffee and pancakes. We colored with her two cute little daughters and watched a Bob Marley concert. That was nice. Unfortunately we both got sick while in Orosi right before we left. We got to Montezuma on the 29th and got checked into a really nice hotel right on the beach. You can wake up, get a coffee, and sit right outside your room watching the waves roll in. We got in really late around 11pm on the 29th so we just walked around the town a little ate and went to bed. The town is pretty happening. Each day leading up to the new year there were big parties on the street. The town in small and condensed so everyone comes to the center and it is pretty

much a party in the street until daylight every night. The day after arriving we met up with a french guy named Willfred that we first met in Orosi. If you were to look up French in the dictionary you would see this guy's picture with a short descriptions of his disgusts and favorite chocolates. He is very silly, but Lucas and him got along very well. We spent the day hiking up to a series of waterfalls. The hike was nice and the first was pretty big. If you do a little bit of rock climbing and get up to the second one you can jump from the top of the waterfall. Lindsay wasn't feeling very well, but Lucas and Will were able to make it to the second and jumped a few times. The next day Ronan met up with us and we went for a walk along the beach. Later in the night we went out for a nice New Year's Eve dinner. Then it was time to party into the next year. The street was slammed with people and lots of activity. At midnight there was no countdown, so we just celebrated when it seemed that

the most excitement was occurring. It was really fun. Lindsay and Ronan went to bed around 2am, but Lucas and Will were determined to stay awake to see the first sunrise of the new year. Will and Lucas went to a silly rave on the beach and were surrounded by only locals. It was pretty difficult to stay awake, but they managed and welcomed the new year eating cookies and drinking beer on the beach. A very surreal experience. Lucas didn't get to bed until about 7am and then woke up at 10am since it is to hot to sleep in the daytime. The first day of the year was pretty calm. We hung out on the beach and took it easy. The next day, on the second, we caught a bus to Mal Pais, a popular surf spot. We are leaving tomorrow to Liberia and then its off to Nicaragua. We are very excited for Nicaragua and will take a bus to Granada. From there we will try to make it to the island of Ometepe. Hope every ones new year was exciting and went well. We miss you all and are excited to see you soon. Congratulations Justin

New Year
Don't worry Lindsay, when Chad and I signed the witness sheet for the marriage, Chad signed your name so you can say you were there. At least that is what he told us in the car on the way to Rock Bottom. Lucas, get ahold of Rhino and tell him to spray the hose a few times while the others project thier positive energy, I think it is the only way. See you, Caroline

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! a little late...
Your new years eve sounded like fun, espcially for lucas. Josh and I sang Karaoke all night with Rhett and his friend. We were at the bar that Amanda works at in Brownsville. It was pretty fun and at the end of the night I helped Amanda clean up. I sang four songs including a duet with this random girl. It was the song from Grease at the end of the movie. We were really silly. P.S. Josh says hello and hopes things are going super. Love you both and miss you lots. --andrea
