Safely arrived in San Jose

After 24 hours of travelling we finally arrived safely in Costa Rica, to be greeted by warm rain and high temperatures and humidity.
Many thanks to Mr Bearman and Mr Cook for driving us to Heathrow in the small hours!
Quite a long wait at Heathrow in the end, as our efficient time allowance was countered by a late opening of the check-in desk.
Very efficient guide "call me Al" has us all organised, although we nearly lost all the luggage as the roofrack collided with the gateway of the hotel on arrival.
James already birding: Kiskadee and Blue-Grey Tnager in the hotel grounds. Doc P very happy among the exotic plants and has already scared Mis Slade with a giant beetle.
