We are on top of the Mayan temple Xunantunich.
The wedding was amazing, something you only see pictures of and think that you cannot actually do that. We got lucky that it was overcast in the morning, so it kept it a little cooler and had a nice breeze. When the Sun would come out, it got hot quick. 2 cruise ships were visiting the site and gave us some great encouragement. People could not believe we were getting married up there. We changed in vacant rooms on the temple. Our minister could not make it up the steps, so we yelled our vows. It was hard with the wind blowing in our ears. The pictures are perfect, we could not ask for more. We are both so happy with how it turned out. On the way back, we were able to find some iguanas in the trees for my father to see as we crossed the Mopan River on a small ferry. We came back to the resort and they treated us great. They had a nice table set up for us and had flowers all over our room with 2 hearts and a congratulations spelled out in spanish on our bed. The staff here is so friendly

and nice. This was money well spent, this was more special than a regular wedding, and cost less with a lot more memories and adventures. Well time to return to the festivities, see you all when we return as Mr. and Mrs. Dorough.
