Yummy, fresh coconut!Yummy, fresh coconut!Yummy, fresh coconut!

I was told I acted about 6 years old for conquering a coconut and enjoying its sweet nectar!
So after an early (10am) flight out of Wilmington on Tuesday, and some delays in Ft Lauderdale, I made it. Capt'n Hank was waiting with roses (actually a cabbie named Rosie) 😊 and we drove back in the rain to get some dinner and a few drinks at Abaco Beach Resort. The weather didn't allow us to cruise about, so we stayed docked up to find activities on the island. We grabbed some breakfast, explored the resort for a bit and then called a cab to run some errands. Loading up on food, liquid beverages, and only the essential supplies we headed back to the boat eat and make an honest effort at whipping ourselves into shape, at the local 'gym' including a stairstepper(TM), a treadmill, and a few dumbbells. Not deterred by Captn's doubtfulness I cracked open a coconut like a pro, and enjoyed the fruits of my labor with Hank casually saying "Its gonna make you sick" and "You're like a 6 year old!" Nap time, and reading our respective romance novels through the afternoon, we decided to dine at Curly Tails, the same restaurant where my family rented a sailboat from 2 years back. Needless to say, plenty

25 or 30mph winds, held us at bay and away from facing the 7-9 foot seas
of fruity cocktails were consumed by the Capt'n and I before we walked back in the cold wind (65F, 20mph) to retire for the night, before 10pm, yet again.

enjoy your balmy weather!
Loved all the pictures and the update. Our temps are in the teens and 20's with lots of wind, so you are still better off than we are, temp-wise. Kirk and Allen are snowboarding in WVA and NC respectively and have powder and 0 degree weather. It is good they have some bars for entertaining you boys and plenty to eat! Please send more pictures of the boat so we can picture what it looks like. It would be fun to see some of any familiar Abaco spots too. Dad said to tell you that you are 'ON" for the triathlon. Love to you and Hank!
