Poor Perry! Your car does look sorry for it's self, you're obviously working it too hard! Still, it got you all the way back to Santa Barbara so it must be a faithfull friend by now.
Yellowstone looks a great place to visit, you lucky people!
Mum xx
Looks Fantastic Arches NP looks fantastic, I've always wanted to go ever since I saw Sharon's photos. Now I want to go more than ever! Maybe one day. Sigh.
Also the cliff dwellings look intriguing, not sure I'd have liked to climb those ladders though!
Looking forward to your blog for the Grand Canyon, another place on my 'to do' list!
Keep safe , mum xx
Greatings from post-travelling boredom! The eye thing sounded painful!
Did you stay in the fantastic Hostal Loki in Cusco? They did the roast dinner thing there. Glad you're having a great time.... it's bringing back a lot of memories!

I'm watching you now! Hi Gary, At last I can see what you are up to, Dave has been here for a few dys before flying off on his trip, and has put your blog on my screen for me so I can see both your trip and his. Just hope the present travel crisis doesn't hold them up too much. You seem to be having a wonderful time, I really am jealous, just wish I was fifty years younger, But if I was, you wouldn't be here. Enjoy yourself, Grandma
Great to see your blog and Inca photos at last. I'm glad your eye recovered enough to be able to see the fantastic scenery!
I'm so jealous, we've been wanting to do the Inca Trail for ages, maybe next year, who knows? Stay safe. mum
hola hola! que tal en Bolivia? just reading the travel blog and seeing the beautiful photos you took, it seems you have to survive to do it! How's life at the top? take care.
Great pics! You are getting some really nice pictures. I especially like the one in your last blog of the llama by the red lake - very cute! He actually looks like he is contemplating life, but really he is probably not thinking anything. I have a feeling llamas are pretty dumb!
Rain in the desert Hi Gary, I didn't get rain in the Atacama desert, but we did get it in the Uyuni salt plains, and it was the first rains in about 100 years - maybe we took it from the UK?!
Two-buck Chuck Hi Gary, Don't get too spoiled by all the good cheap wine down there. When you get to the States we will treat you and Matt to some REAL quality stuff: Charles Shaw, otherwise known as "two-buck Chuck" Hmmm, I can taste it now...
Hostel recommendations Hi Gary,
Sounds like you are having a really good time. Can you mention the names of good hostels you stay in - we'll be out there in late September so it would be good if we had recommendations.
Keep up the hard work!
Thanks, Dave.
Chocoholic? Hi Gary,
Sounds like you didn't make use of the free chocolate to quite the same extent as we did...but made better use of the night life. But there again, we were three girls travelling together...free chocolate is bound to be a disaster!!!
Keep having fun!
Hey Gary
Incredibly jealous! Loved the pics and so wish we could pack our bags and go travelling too. Instead we're busy arguing about decorating. The house came through on tueday and we are busy painting and moving. Wish you were around.... (ok! maybe just to give us a hand!;)
Take care matie. Hello to big matt and keep those pics and stories comming in.
Tush x
Soooo jealous! Hi Gary,
Did you time your trip on purpose to make it right as I get home from mine just so you can get your revenge and send me nice e-mails when i am working (well, looking for work)?
Looks fun. Not sure if i saw a tucan or not...
Don't miss the "La Boca" area in Buenos Aires and also the cemetery whenere Evita is buried - quite creepy!
Love Sharon
