If you have an extra day in Paris, one of the best excursions would be going to the palace and garden of Versailles. This will just take you a 45 minute train ride from Paris City Centre. A ticket will just cost you about 6 Euros roundtrip. The entrance fee to Versailles is about 13 Euros. Versailles is really different from Paris since it is very clean and there are few gypsies. This place is a must see since you will get to learn so much from the History of France. You will learn how their leaders treated the poor and oppressed. You will also learn how their leader’s used the money of the people to beautify their kingdom even though they are just 5 people living in the palace. In the end the people will ... read more

I have been dreaming of this place for quite along time and I finally went to Paris. I have bought and read so many tourist books and researched so many blogs about Paris in preparation for this trip. I am so happy, thankful and very lucky that my Aunt and Cousin treated my whole family to Paris. I was so happy to spend my first trip in Paris with my close cousins. We arrived in the evening in Paris on our first day. It was very exhausting since we walked 4 blocks from the train station and we had to bring our entire luggage with us. I and my cousins stayed at a very large apartment in Paris. Our apartment is located near Centres de Pompidou. ... read more

I have eaten so many cuisines in many places in the world: dimsum in Hongkong, Pad Thai in Bangkok, Taiwanese Fried Chicken in Taipei, Bibimbap in Seoul and Hainanese Chicken in Singapore; yet whenever I think of a unique cuisine I always think of Portuguese Food. It’s not your mainstream type of cuisine, since it is not very popular like American, Italian and Chinese food here in the Philippines. It was my first time to eat this kind of food that is really different from what I have ever tasted. The food at Fernando’s Restaurant at Coloane,Macau was surprisingly delicious. It’s not because that I have not been to Portugal that is why I don’t know anything about Portuguese food, but I thought that it would be very similar to Spanish Cuisine but it isn’t. Fernando’s ... read more

Baseline Party was indeed the best party I have ever been to so far. It was the wildest and craziest party ever. To those who didn’t go to Sinulog…. Where were you? You’ve just missed the biggest event in the Philippines. The crowd was fun and everyone was friendly. Strangers keep on putting face paint all over your body and the beer was overflowing. People kept throwing beer, hard drinks, and water to the crowd. The party started at 12 noon and ended up at 2 in the morning. The crowd was mostly composed of adults ages 18 to 25 which are mostly Filipinos from Manila and Cebu. There were few foreigners partying at Baseline since it is not much promoted worldwide. The street party event was like the Philippine’s Version of Tomorrowland. I and my ... read more

Out of the 35 provinces I have been to here in the Philippines Sagada is my top 1 pick. It is truly a majestic place where you feel like you’re in heaven. The scenery is very nice and very peaceful. It is an untouched paradise. If you are an adventurous person this will be the perfect place for you since most of the tourist spots here in Sagada requires you to do trekking. Even though it took us 14 hours from Manila to Sagada it is truly worth it. There are so many things to do in Sagada like Trekking, Mountain Biking, Spelunking, Kayaking, Mountain Climbing, Camping, and River Rafting. There are so many places to see like Kiltepan Peak, Sumaging Cave, Echo Valley and Hanging Coffins. The people here in Sagada are very nice. The ... read more

Pico De Loro, Hamilo Coast is located in Nasugbu, Batangas. This real estate was developed by SM Property. I think this is Henry Sy’s project for their high end market. Pico De Loro is one my favorite travel destinations here in the Philippines. I have been here for like 4 times this year and I never get bored whenever I go back to this wonderful place. You got to love this place since it is very exclusive and it is just 3 hours away from Metro Manila. It is better than other Exclusive/ Membership Resorts since it has they have complete facilities like infinity pool, billiards, poker area, playground, dining area, tennis area, play station area, basketball court, badminton court, squash court, private beach and other water sports facilities. The thing I love about Hamilo Coast ... read more

Spending a Christmas at Bellarocca is quite nice, since they will provide you first class service. The facilities and amenities in their hotel is world class. If you are the type of person who wants their privacy and would also want peace and tranquility with their lives, Bellarocca would be the perfect place for you. I spent an overnight stay at Bellarocca with my cousins’ Ysa, Yna Tina and my sister Ciacia. We stayed at the terrazas. The terrazas would be the perfect villa, if you are many in your group since it can accommodate 5 persons. I don’t much recommend the food here in Bellarocca since the food does not maintain the standards of a 6 star resort. They provide few entrees and they mostly sell Filipino and Greek food. Even though it was Christmas ... read more

My Visayas Trip was definitely one of the best adventure trips I ever had. I can really say that this is one for the books. I went there with my two classmates from DLSU, Phibbie and Shiela. It was definitely a spontaneous trip since we just booked our trip in the middle of a class. We were just looking for a cheap flight in the Philippines. We did not even know what was in Bacolod. We booked our trip and just paid a 1000 Pesos or 20USD. On our first Day we went to Bacolod and toured around the city. We went to The Ruins which is definitely a must see historical place. The ruins before was a Spanish house built by the colonizers. Our ancestors were alarmed so they burned the house so that Bacolod ... read more
