Being a film star sucks sometimes
Tam I can so relate to the photograph thing - have to spend some time in Bali next week as Bob and Linda say and your and cockles blogs ask.....is there somewhere perfect in Bali? I dont have high hopes but enjoyed your blog yet again - came back to reread for tips on something to do with my mum...while you have to blog about things to do with kids LOL.

Can't wait for your pictures...
so went to the Holiday Inn website so I could picture your family there. The hotel lobby and pool looked beautiful. Sorry about the location. However, after reading Cockle's blog at [blog=679098], you might want to give Legian a miss. I'm still waiting for someone to write about the perfect place to stay on Bali. Next time you visit you need to drive all over the island to find that place, so that you always know where to come back to; and so I know where to stay. Actually, I can wait for your pictures. Don't you have an SD chip in your camera that can be taken out and inserted into your laptop computer. That was my only solution as I always lost the cables connecting the two.

I worked at the U.S. Mission to NATO from July 1984 to November 1995. You can see my blogs covering this period. Linda thinks I have been married to the computer for the last year while I put this all together. I hope you enjoy reading the epic saga! Thanks for the pictures. When we had kids your age, we concentrated on family destinations too. They grow up fast and will want to explore strange lands. It's good that you can get cheap flights with Air Asia. I have flown with them too.

hi, thanks for that. A few trips we havent done very much tourist stuff so it can be a bit hard to add photos...theyre all just of the kids! I am hoping to go a bit further afield in September next year and somewhere a little different - sri lanka or dubai perhaps....but with the little ones at the moment we're still sticking with posher hotels, big cities and kids entertainment....and that will be a 10 hour flight so building up to a big europe or US flight (24 hours generally). enjoying all your stories too... did you work for the UN or NATO? tam

I am a very devoted and addicted traveller so just want to talk travel.
