Free falling Hi there! Happy you finally got to do your jump, me and Linda did it in Australia on Mission beach. I must say it was a wonderful experience but I don't really have to do it again. The free falling wasn't as wonderful as I expected, I preferred the part after the parachute was up! And hey, the beaches in UK look faboulus!!
Hugs,
Jenny

Weird to be back! Thankyou Stuart, Joolz and Hugh, it has been an amazing journey, and now I appear to be in a sort of limbo. It feels like I dreamt the last nine months, and as I look around the place now, everything looks familiar but slightly different. Not helped by the jet lag, I am slowly waking from my dream......
Final leg Wot a fantastic time you've had and thanks for taking the time to share your experiences,is there a book in the pipeline? All the best for your final orbit and re-entry,weather should be a bit warmer here for you hopefully.Best wishes - Stuart

Great Journalism What a wonderful time and what clarity of reporting.
Between the writing and the photographs i fell as if i am tracing your steps and enjoying every moment of it. Great pity about the forgotten laundry, you look stunning on the beach.
The blue bells are huge compared to our gently little Irish species.
have a lovely day
This travel bog was my travel companion in 2006 when I took off on a world trip and gap year:-
(I'd made the decision that it was time to move on, make some changes and time for me. Time to do something that I've always wanted to do. Travel and explore for 1 year. I have realised that I can do this, if I really put my mind to it.
With some new found confidence, and a year preparing, including selling my home, encouraging my son 'Mark' in his move-out to independence. Worked my notice and I was on my way, life would never be quite the same.......)
