I've been meaning to write about the little quirks, and not just list what I do, because I feel that's the real meat of traveling, those day to day little obsevances or interactions. I've learned I have little patience for tuk-tuks, taxi, or motorbike drivers, first they're the least likely to bargain fairly, most likely to rip you off and everywhere, anywhere in tourist areas, "taxi? tuk-tuk?" you wave them off, but you do have to give them props sometimes, it's a bit demeaning to be blown off all the time, and your job is a bit of a crap-shoot. In less touristy zones, in countries where people have a bit of money, locals will come up to you, a bit shyly sometimes, smiling, and stand besides you as you look up to see their friend
