Hi Sue
Sounds like you're having a fab time. I'm envious, especially as it's turned warmer but rainy again here. Missing you loads, can't wait to catch up when you're back.

Amazing photos Looks like you are taking advantage of being there and doing all the touristy things which look and sound amazing.
temperature has gone up from minus 10 to plus 6 degrees here in scotland, which feels roasting but not quite as hot as NZ.
Wish I was there too :-) XXX
Hi Sue. Glad to see that you are having a fantastic time. Just wanted to know if you have managed to jump out of a plane yet. Taupo is the best place for it.
Fun in the sun You look and sound as if you are having a brill time. We had a similar idea for a New Years day barbie but it was cold and rainy in Florida - one of their longest and coldest spells for years - just our luck!!! Got back 2 days ago and looking forward to returning to work on Monday - not! Can't sleep for thinking about it - hence the time of this email!!! No such worries for you though, you have got ages to go before you need to think about it. Looking forward to your next blog and photo's to see all your new found friends!!! Stay safe and keep in touch. x
Happy New Year!! Wow, sounds like you had a wonderful xmas and new year! Am so jealous! Have a fab time in New Zealand, I'm sure you will have just as much fun! Could do with some of that sun instead of all this snow!! xx
Hi Rosie, good to hear that you are having s good holiday too. I was petrified going in to do the diving - can't you tell by the photo! Anyway in Auckland now. was to go to the Bay of Islands today but cut my finger and needed 5 stitches. Bit sore but have painkillers and antibiotics. Hope to go tomorrow, no swimming or diving and it is supposed to be one of the 5 best dive sites in the world. Got your email! Take care xxxx
Hi Mel, you seem to have dropped off my email list!! can you send it again, hopefully you can still see the blog. In Auckland now, a really pretty city... however I was supposed to leave for the bay of Islands today... 5 mins before I was to get the bus I cut my finger quite badly, lost a quite a bit of blood and had to get 5 stitches!! Hope to be well enough to go tomorrow.

My poor bhoys Sue. They had the forces of evil over a barrel but couldnt apply the killer touch. Evil persists over good, a bad day (it finished 1 -1).

Big freeze is right, the weather here has ground the nation to a halt almost... so glad I've no more commuting by train.

Thinking of you this Christmas Hi Kim\and Molly
Thanks for your message, hope you are both feeling better. I have heard about the big freeze, it started the night I left. It is hard to believe that it has been a week already. It has been really humid despite of the rain and thunder storms and its a bit hard to get used to. Off to the beach tomorrow and dont think there is a phbne recpetion there, so try get through Christmas the best you can, thinking of you both. Love Sue xx
Happy Christmas Joe & Noreen Thanks for your message Joe, I miss you all too, and I agree that Rosie will be missed sorely!! however, it wont change that much with our wee trips planned, and your on the case! This actually does feel like the other side of the world. Its been lovely catching up with my sister and her family, she has two great kids and its been great spending time wit them too. Been a wee bit homesick at times, but I know I am really lucky to be in a position to experience all of this. Anyway Have a happy and holy christmas. Love Suexxx
You made it ! Wee Sue,
Great that your journey went without a hitch and that you are settling in. Here, the whole UK has come to a standstill with snow and ice. Managed to get to London for Rosie's 'do'. I'm going to miss her terribly, things will never be the same. Need you back here to cheer us all up - but not before you fully enjoy your adventure of a lifetime !
Take care Sue and have a great Christmas. Will think of you and toast you at midnight Australia time on New Year's Eve.
All my love.
Hail hail !
Joe
