I fly to Nepal this September for 6 weeks of trekking around the Annapurna and Hindu/buddhist temples before moving on to Thailand and heading north to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia for Angkor Wat. I plan to go back to southern Thailand for Christmas & New Year, hopefully taking in a full moon party on Ko Phangan. Im then planning a month in Malaysia (and maybe Indonesia) before flying to Los Angeles and travelling over land through Mexico, Guatemala (Mayan temples), Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica & Panama, trying to improve my Spanish and helping out with a few grass roots volunteer organisations along the way. If I have any money left after that, I'll probably end up in Columbia, Venezuela or Peru for a few weeks(hopefully finishing along the Inca trail and Machu Pichu).

This is the longest and most expansive attempt at travelling I will have done and I plan to be away for at least a year. I've previously lived in Bilbao and have travelled around Europe, Morroco and Egypt. Ive been saving up for this since last January and really cant wait to hit the road. I'd be happy to meet like minded travellers on the road to share storys / knowledge or maybe hook up along certain legs of my journey to visit certain places
