a well known fact... It is a well-known fact among international travelers that polish dentists have terrible bedside manner. some sort of weird residue of communism...?
Amazing! Becky, thanks for the update. With all that is going on in the world right now, you have been heavy on my mind! So nice to see your smiling face in such a picturesque setting. I am so glad you are relaxing into your trip and enjoying the journey you have set out on! Much love! Jen
Carpathians Becky,
Thanks for the virtual tour of the trip. Sounds great. The human tank through the mud to the creek sounds a bit nuts. We'll be picking Diana up from the airport tonight. I'm wondering if she's looking forward to coming back at this point or if she's ready to keep traveling. Glad to hear that the Russian visa seems to be working out. Be safe and enjoy the journey. Love,
Peter
We have decided on Zoey Lucinda Grantham. The middle name is after both of our grandmothers which was Lucille. I didn't really get a chance to respond much this morning. It sounds like your trip has been an adventure thus far. Can't wait to hear more. Love to you.
Good to know... the part about what bombs are made of! lol, just kidding... Really that is a little bit of overkill by TSA I might add. Them fools always like to mess up all my neatly packed clothes when they rummage through my suitcases!! But I will remember to not use lotion or wash my hands with soap until through security!
Enjoy Philly!
you too thanks jenny - thought about you today as well. i am back east staying at the house i grew up in - although it's empty since my dad isn't here and obviously my mom isn't either - so it feels a bit weird. hope you got the bed o.k.? - and don't worry - the house is being cleaned on wednesday for meghan! be in touch - love you too.
Thinking about you today I hope your trip to the East Coast was uneventful. I was thinking about you today and thinking what an exciting adventure you have embarked upon. I look forward to hearing of your escapades over the next year or so. Take care - travel safely - and have an absolute incredible BLAST! Love you, girl!
I am heading out this April to begin my journey. First will arrive in Poland and spend a bit of time there with my dad and niece. The plan is to then make my way to Moscow and ride the longest railway in the world - the Trans-Siberian Railway to Mongolia to meet up with my sweet friend Pat and experience pristine mountains and rivers with him - check out his cool website regarding river rafting in Mongolia www.mongoliariveradventures.com - then to India, and continue further south through Southeast Asia. I'm excited, overwhelmed, nervous - can't believe it's happening! I'm new to the world... full info
