The Pehn as its known among its expat community sits at the confluence of the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers its a city of few charms but what it lacks in places of interest it makes up in activity.The russian and old markets are a hive of colour and smells the streets throughout the day bustling, lined with food stalls and cluttered shop fronts,motos prod and push their way around the slow moving cars and trucks.Horns toot ,limbless beggars pull at your clothes for change,tuk tuk drivers call out looking for fares,pots,pans and baskets are carried from here to there filled with rice,coal and vegetables.Sugar cane is pressed,whole animals are roasted on curbside spits as safron robbed monks collect alms,beer in bars advertise all day happy hour, old women call out on laundry covered balconies.By
