This trip was during June/July 2005 and was a university field trip. Our aim was to compare Resource Management Issues between Australia and New Zealand. And we had a brilliant time. We slept in bivvie bags on sand dunes and had all sorts of exciting things happen, camels roaming through our campsite at night, scorpions, dingo's. The trip started in Alice Springs and saw us travel down into South Australia and back to The Alice. We camped in places such as Trephina Gorge, RedBank Gorge and on sand dunes in the Simpson Desert. We visited a raft of amazing places including the Geographical Centre of Australia, Uluru, Tnorala, Dalhousie Springs and the Finke Gorge.
