Great article Hi all,
It's always funny to read how a "gringo" (LOL) see us, peruvians. Because I'm peruvian and I live in Peru, I can't see my country with the same eyes... It's very interresting.
You are talking about the Machu Picchu. I think you can talk more about the Inca Trail because it's a wonderfull Trek. You have websites like www.inca-trail.com.pe that permits to see availabilities in real time and I think it's important to say that people can't go to Cusco and buy directly a Trek. Things are more complicate. You need to reserve months before.
So, to conclude, .... take care and welcome to Peru!!!
Jealous Hi guys, great to get another update on your fantastic journey. This one about PNG was great to read. Yes, in the comfort of Aus we do get an impression through the media of a somewhat lawless and AIDS affected community in PNG, but as in all places (as you know) visiting the general population usually uncovers pleasant, friendly and hospitable people. I am more than a little jealous of your terk up Mt Wilhelm, but not so sure the little old legs could do it so easily these days. BTW, Kristina has skipped off to Hanoi in Vietnam for a couple of weeks (use up some of my FF points). Keep us posted on future travels.
Cheers, Andrew.
Thank you! I'll be moving to Moresby soon and will be living there for 2 years. As I have never been to PNG yet it was interesting to read your stories and see your photos.
Is life possible without? While in Switzerland BLICK now is entitled KöBI (after Köbi Kuhn the Swiss coach) and there is no meeting without talking about THE GAMES and no food without hint at the game of the games, you describe a world where life goes on without the ball - incredible. It was much fun to read your article - we are looking forward to further ones. Enjoy your big journey - it's the game of YOUR life.
just great We admired already your German reports and are now also fascinated by your stories in Englisch. Your photographs are impressive and open a completely new world to us. We are looking forward to many more pictures and stories.
