Today will be the 5th of September. I guess by official standards it is still summer. However, I am used to September being back-to-school-sweaters and shoes and maybe even occasionally scarves. In Shenzhen, the first full week of the month is bringing very-slightly-cooler temperatures, which means I can sometimes wear shirts that cover my elbows, or pants that cover my knees, or hair down over my shoulders, without IMMEDIATELY sweating enough to be sopping wet. Part of the problem is humidity, part is the tropical sun (this is the furthest south I've ever lived), but it's putting a strain on my professional wardrobe to have to deal with this heat and humidity every day.
