Greetings from the great white north Karina.
Don't stop rambling about all your jungle stories. I am eating them all up and trying to live vicariously through you, but not all the way because the stuff you are doing is way to hardcore. There does seem to be some kind of primal enjoyment that you are having by getting to bushwhack through a jungle. It is beyond epic. Its epic even for epic.
The main reason that I wouldn't be able to deal is the bugs. Its not that i'm scared of them so much (except centipedes) but i just don't want all the bugs up in my personal space. Its just that they never stop. You are more of a man than I ever will be for dealing with them (See the venom extractor, which does sound ridiculously bad-ass). I hope that bullet ant bite turned out alright.
Back in the Great White North (Insert Massachusetts) it is fricken freezing. It was below freezing for most of the week and windy. Most of the time, the 'feels like' temps were below 0. One night I looked at the temp before bed and it was 9 but felt like -7. Thats cold.
In other news, I started my job and moved to Boston (Medford actually - near Tufts). I love my job. I can't say that enough. The people are so smart and the place itself is awesome. When ever you come back you definitely need to visit so I can show you. (Thats the quick version since the long version would be a seriously long essay)
I hope you get this and continue to fulfill my dream to be traipsing around the jungle (vicariously only). Whats next? Hunting for your own food? Caimen wrestling? More venom extracting? Halucinating on poison frogs? I cant wait to hear. Im going to try out that peanut butter and chocolate thing now. You got me interested.
Stay Safe!

pictures ahhh i would love to post pictures but the internet connection here is SO slow that it literally will not upload photos. i've tried about 50 times! i'm going to try to put together an email soon with photos attached, because i've heard that that works from here, but no guarantees. it's a real bummer but i'll try to figure something out!
