Hello peeps! Arrived at our second destination, Kanchanaburi, which is famous after the world war 2 film, Bridge on the River Kwai. We got ourselves settled in a guesthouse right on the river and stayed in a bamboo hut on stilts on the river, nice.......... The place was really beautiful and we had some great views and scenery from our little water palace, which, just to rub it in folks, cost us 1 pound 25p per person per night! A bit of a bargain me thinks! We had a jam packed day on our second day. First off we went to a POW museum, which told the story of the British, American, Australian and Thai POW's who were forced to work in terrible conditions by the Japanese, building the Thailand to Burma railway during the second
