Day 1 of the Gibb River Road today, we wonder what lies ahead for us, we have heard so many conflicting reports about the road condition. Our first stop would be Emma Gorge, a 1.5k walk, over boulders and through grasslands, changing into rainforest the higher we walked. Even though the water at the Gorge was a little cold, and we didn’t swim, the walk was well worth it. Then onto Zebedee Springs, this is a thermal spring and is only open from 7.00am to 12 midday, hopefully we would make it in time, and we arrived around 11:40, quick change into the cozzie, and of we go, we managed to get in about a 10 minute swim, and it was so refreshing.
