We woke up early at 6am and got ready for the coach to pick us up at our campsite at 7:30. We were driven to River Heads in Hervey bay to get the 30 min ferry to Fraser island. When we got off the ferry in Wanggoolba, we got on to a 4 wheel drive coach. The roads are made entirely from sand, so it was a very bumpy ride! Our first stop was at Central Station. We saw the buildings that the loggers used to live in, and walked through some of the rainforest. We saw some different types of pine trees, and a freshwater creek (Wanggoolba creek). We also saw a giant king fern. We then drove along 75mile Beach, where we saw some whales in the ocean! We stopped to see the cruise
