A cushionless, sweaty three-hour bus ride north took us, with bruised tailbones, to the midsize town of Hue. Hue is pronouced "(h)Way," making it particularly susceptible to bad puns (see title of this entry). Other than that, it's a great place. We got in in the early evening and checked into our hotel, which is reached down an alley crammed with what seems to be most of Hue's hotels. restaurants, and tour agencies. The hotel is great, with rooms bigger than our New York apartment (as all our rooms have been, actually), great AC, and in-room computers with internet for only $15! The hotel's only flaw is its intermittant power outages, but it actually seems to be a problem throughout the city and with a flashlight and Scrabble, we've made do (though the darkness seems to
