Turku Cathedral Jessie was this the place where a lot of people were in tombs? On our tour, if it was, this is where the only finnish woman, who was the queen of Sweden is buried.
Nice photos You'll have to tell us what the site is all about - don't quite know what you are doing with that.
We got our isight camera today - do you have a mac account. Called Heather and Sinclaire said after "I see Heather in movie" She asked Heather to show her the kitty-cat about 5 times.
We could bring over your Mom and like up with Heather (time zones permitting...) You should be snug in bed by now. We just finished a sauna - they really are great.
Bahaha I love the finnish...just for the fact that there is a menu item called "pimp my reindeer."
if the 21th century progressive culinary milestones of humankind were to be traced...this would indeed be one of them.
Hi Jessie ! Great photos !! Hi Jessie, Your Mom just gave me the weblog site. What beautiful places you have been already. I like your idea of taking a day a week to explore. I have booked my little adventure for skating on the Rideau Canal and it looks like the weather just might cooperate as it is getting and staying cold here. Though not as bad as Winnipeg with its 48 below !! I will check in weekly too. What a great adventure for you !!All the best. Andi
Oceans away! Hi Jess,
Fantastic job on the blogging here. Its Really Weird that you would be touching the ocean while Gabe and I are around the world in the middle of the Pacific, swimming in the Napili Bay, Maui west side. The climate tropical, everyday 75, and always a misty rain which brings a beautiful rainbow, and whales breeching in the distance. We saw as much as we could squeeze in, sea turtles, surfers, pineapple farms, tropical plantations, the "Enchanting Garden" and on the Road to Hana, we visited the "Garden of Eden" before we saw the black sand beach.
Architectually the biggest change for us is that Large buildings like malls, and visitor centres, do not necessarily have a roof or walls, like going to Intercity ( well okay but way prettier) and the stores are connected in some ways, but no outer security doors at all, and layered or no roofing. They use a lot of venting techniques for air circulation and not a lot of air conditioning. Our very nice hotel room had neither heater, no cooler of any kind.
I would send you a photo if I knew how!
Keep up the great blog, will be looking for it,
Love Auntie
Where's the snow? Shouldn't there be snow?
I think the ski poles are for the mountain walks (today's walking sticks). Be careful - if they invite you on a walk they are very serious about it and climb like mountain goats.
Akknollegmentti from Nolalu Hi, Jessie.
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us via the blog.
Glad to read you survived the "flu flight". Nothing worse than being sick on an airplane.
Looks like you're at the start of a great year.
Lar says keep him "posted" on the things that make you beam. The pics are great.
Cheers,
Liz and Lar.
Hello from Rudy Reindeer stew hey? hmmm...not so sure about it, but if you say so. ;) I love the blog and sight seeing through you. I can't wait to read more. I'll keep you posted about Calgary, but I'm sure it won't be as exciting as your adventures. Good luck with school!!!

Dublin daze... Great idea to get the blog going Jessie-- I will make it a point of following your blog and even email you the Jennifer Luce blog addresses if you get an ache for what us in Ottawa (why would you though?) are up to.
I located my girlfriend Aliisa's address and will be writing her and copying you soon on that-- she is magnificent and also a wee bit shy-- you can't help but feel welcome by a girl of the likes like her... and she will know of great shows to see in Helsinki no doubt too. We used to listen to Finnish band, Nylon Beat :)
Update the heck of this baby and I will keep you Ottawa posted. I think Candice is coming to Kosmic in Ottawa this weekend for starters...
Big kisses from across the Atlantic-
and let me lget this straight, you never had seen the ocean???? Awesome!
