well we landed in the uk and then the cold got to us (arrived in the uk and it was freezing cold) after being in india and the warmth...well u all know lol... so we booked a cheap flight to morroco....it was amazing ...we were told that there would be lots and lots of people...but after being to vietnam crowds are non exsiting...we did the open top bus trip around marrakech and it was well worth it.....we then went to Essaouira (it is an ocean side town) and it was really amazing too....was an old fort city so there was a wall all around it....had a nice view and really nice riad (hotel) was mad it was like a movie set!!!... read more

bloody hot and sticky.....and heaps of people....this city was too busy and was like a ....a.....hmmmm.....it was just bangkok.....was nice to visit and do a little shopping.....and go go bars..welll.....they even give u a "menu" to pick what "ping pong" show u want to go to.....i wont go any further to protect the inocent!!!!...lol.....use ur imagination.....we were offered many things.....we did a tour out to the river Kwai and to the floating markets...river kwai was good ....the floating markets not so good....the canal boat trip out was nice the floating markets was a huge concrete shopping centre with a few boats flkoating next to it...(we went to this with a new friend graham form surry hills too) was nice taxi ride....but the driver got the shits when we wouldnt take his friends boat trip @ ... read more

this was to be our "beach" stop....and what a beach....there was more rubbish and shops than there was room for sand!!!!....the guest house was nice...we hired eletric bikes a rode all around the village...we also had an awsome italian meal....we had to stay here for a week as it was Cambodian new year....and we were waiting for our indian visa's...(they were so much fun to aquire...dont ever let them know that you have 2 passorts!!!!) well after a few nights in a guest house...we decided to treat our selves to a resort...and what a resort...it had a really clean beach and was how had expexted the place to be...really sad that we had to stay @ a really expensive place to get a nice beach....if we didnt have to wait for our visa's we would have ... read more

well we made it....look @ one of the pics and u will c hanoi airport with me (ian) in it ...no one else!!!!! we arrived for check in on our PMT flight....hmmmmm.....was already 2hours late....the went to check in and our names were not on the "list" but there was about 100 others on the lsit?! gets better....we had a "letter" from the travel agent as did the other 8 westerners....a letter!!!!....they then get there supervisour...who with a lot of phone calls...writes our names onto the list....so alls good right....not quite...they then give us all our borbing passes....and then change the boaring time from 1530 to 1900..(our letter said 1400 flight) so we hang around in the terminal for a few ours...boring....then 1630 comes and they move the gate...we walk around to the new gate ... read more

Halong bay Asia » Vietnam » Ha Long Bay By neeny68March 31st 2007wow wow wow...what a place...the view so so cool...the tour was crap...food well that was all it was....hmmmm... but the people on the cruise were awsome!!!! made some cool friends there....as for the bay...well if you only come to vietnam once...just do halong bay...but pay a little more and have comfort!!!!...the pics say it all....when we got there, there was about 100 other boats about to go out....and staying on the boat was well worth it....the next will be hanoi....we did hanoi in between sapa and halong...was alright just very busy....... read more
