The flight from Delhi to Dehra Dun was really easy. The drive from Dehra Dun to the Parmarth Niketan ashram in Rishikesh, however, was a bit of an adventure. The ashram is in the foothills of the Himalayas, so the road started to twist and turn as we climbed up the hills. There was one particular spot that had a really good view, so we thought the driver was stopping to let us take a picture. We did have a wonderful view of a river gorge, but we stopped because we had a flat tire. This seems to be a regular thing here, so he had it changed in no time, and we were on our way. I took pictures of the gorge and the car, but will have to post them later.
