Toilets, Swollen Feet, and Cows I finally had the time to sit and "enjoy" your journals and pics. Fun and interesting to read and beautiful pics! Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to reading/seeing more.
Long Flight I can feel for you on the long flight. I made the flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt many times. It just seemed it will never end. Last time I went at least we could still smoke. Sounds like you are prepared for anything on your trip. I am looking forward to getting more updates on the trip. Have fun!!!!!
Whew! Wow! You sure have had a hectis star! I am so sorry about your luggage! I know that is wht Ruth and Praveen try to never check anything. I remember when my luggage got misplaced when we all flew to Syracuse for Uncle Joe's wedding. That sucked for me, seeing as I woreVERY casual clothes on the plane and they didn't arrive with my luggage until about 10-15 minutes before the wedding, so I had to rush to change. At least it actually DID arrive though.
Anyway, that was only a weekend. I can't imagine your worry about not having your things for a months trip, esp. in a foreign land!
So anyway, what was the shopping like on Height St? Essentials, huh? Hehe!
Hey!?, Can we read others' comments?
Bailey's for breakfast??? Hehehehehehe!! Your adventure has begun! You really cracked me up when you mentioned having bailey's first thing in the morning! LOL! Hope your luggage arrives....but you seem to have a good attitude about it if it does not....I am sure your trip will still be wonderful. Maybe you could go on a quick shopping trip this morning before takeoff.
The view from Ruth's house is awesome!
BTW your family is beautiful! You are still as pretty as you were in high school! Warmest regards, Maureen
WOW I can't believe in 24 hours you have had so much going on. I am waiting for the next letter to see what has happened. Renny sent this to me because I did not get it. I hope I am on your list.
I am 54 years old and have never left the North American continent until my recent trip to India with my daughter, Ruth, and her fiance, Praveen, where they were married on December 25th in his home town, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. Before and after the wedding we traveled around the country. Now, I'm home so I've updated this profile to reflect that. I will continue to post a few more journals with memories and photos of our trip.
