Hi there What a great adventure! You are certainly walking a long way! I loved the unusual scarecrow. So weird! Ray and I leave for our big adventure in a weeks time. We are very excited but nervous, too! Did you set up this blog before you left or when you got there? Our choir night last night only had a few people there as there seems to be lots of people doing different things. OS Meetings away etc. Keep in touch Love your Blog

Happy Birthday Jacqui Once again thank you for all the news - it is so inspiring and fascinating and uplifting. You are doing some amazing stuff girls and I think the washing technique is one to consider! Looking forward to lots of pics and news at choir.
xx Kirsty
Oh i do enjoy reading your blogs. I was feeling tired on this Monday morning but you've picked me up and helped me appreciate my surroundings and the fact i have a job to come to and had a lovely bed to sleep in last night!
Belated birthday greetings, i havent been on FB for quite some time so missed that msg. I'm sure you've had a birthday to remember. Look forward to reading your next blog! Lots of love to you both!!
Oh Lord please don't let me be misunderstood Sorry Jacqui. In an organisation I belong to, we distinguish between yearly organisation birthdays and real birthdays by saying it's my" Belly button Birthday" No smart aleck comment intended.
Keep well
Dave
Big walks stout hearts So glad you're having such a good time on J and ds excellent adventure! And the people you meet along the WAY are obviously good hearted too. You may not see them again but you'll always remeber them.I know I have fond memories of a lot of people I travelled with, they may be ships in the night but like I always thought, there are many more good people in the world than bad.Oh I forgot how many ks have you done? Off to bed now to stare into the ABYSS of insomnia mmmwwaahhhh sob weep lol lol xxx
exhausted, but exhilerated Wow you two are certainly having an adventure. The km's you are walking are astounding, but i'm sure you are buoyed on by the experience and the sights. Can't wait to see those calves of steel you are developing, dad (Peter) would be proud!!! xxx
Ta! I HAVE JUST noticed your comment title.... excuse me I wasnt aware and rudely did NOT wish you happy BB Day .........IS this also Hairy legs month???? well it is for me

Happy Birthday Happy Birthday Jacqui, Hope you have a great day.
Keep on blogging & it sounds like it is a great experience but definitely not one that I could do, we went to the zoo yesterday & walked around for about 5 hours & that was more than enough for all of us. I'll have a drink for you at the pub tonight. Cheers. Baz
walking women Hi , great to read your blog lots of good memories . Keep them coming and enjoy . Walking all the way with you in my mind . thanks Maureen
spirit v religion I truly think that the feelings that come from inside yourself are the true "religion" not what some fella in a frock tells you, how does he know for sure anyway? music, old,old buildings where many souls have walked mean more than sermons and such.So glad your'enjoying every thing, keep safe and enjoy your cruise afterward, you'll be ready for it by then .lol xxx
Don't worry about what your blog looks like. Whatever you write, and whatever way it comes (spelling errors, all caps, whatever) all adds to the character for me. If what you were doing was easy you would have it beautifully set out and corrected. But its not easy - so your blog should show it!!! I can't believe how much walking you do each day. You two will have dynamite legs by the time you get back! (Unless of course you blow it all lounging around on your cruise!!)
I hope Benjamin did well after you saw him. While I was reading I just wanted to come over and give the poor boy a huge hug! Love the little church you described. To me that really is a holy place - simple, not full of gold and ornaments.
Sending lots of love your way - enough for two, so share with Diane!
"Talk The Walk" Hi Jacqui,
I am finding myself searching my emails hoping for a blog from you! Such interesting reads and photo's as well. You have done yourself proud. Certainly sounds like you are enjoying a rich and rewarding experience which will be close to your heart and soul for many years to come. Value and enjoy every moment as a trip like this will be hard to match!! Take care and soak it up. Warm wishes, Love Cathy x
thanks Jacqui. hurrah, hurrah for you on your way hi Walking Woman, It's so special to be here in Adelaide and on this beautiful autumn day to hear such a lively account of your journey. I hope you are continuing to have such amazing days and know that your blogs are such a joy to read. love Sue
WOW So impressed with the length of your walks, is it becomng easier?
So impressed with a building from 1062 and so glad that you sneaked in to see a "real" church, if only those walls could talk!!
Keep going girls xxxxxxx
An Incredible Journey! Lovely to read all about your travels thus far!!! You really have a way with words and I am looking forward to your next blog! Enjoy,Enjoy,Enjoy!!!!
Glad to hear from you. Hi Jacqui - it looks like you and Diane are having a great time over there and meeting lots of people. I was interested in the mass you attended at Westminister Cathedral - I usually go to at least 1 mass there when I am in London so I know what you mean about the atmosphere etc especially when the choir is singing.
Looking forward to seeing all your photos when you return.
Take care both of you and hope the rest of your journey is as interesting.
Cheers,
Bev
Go Girls Hi Jacqui - I'm Sue Ward's friend from choir and so receiving your amazing blog as part of the choir group - THANK YOU. I feel inspired and warmed by your travel new, what an adventure. It never ceases to amaze me how humanity makes connections such as your story of the man and his son in law, and the "binding in the moment" in Westminster cathedral and the storm moment in the Pyrenees. What memories to help the slower moments when you are 99!! We are walking with you and looking forward with enthusiasm to the next travel instalment. xx Kirsty
