beautiful! What a beautiful beach! And to think before you left you were worried about meeting ppl! Of course you wouldn't have any problems. Glad you are enjoying yourself. Don't be stupid about sunscreen, man ...
good stuff Yes, I don't miss the price haggling. But it sounds like you are having great experiences there. Glad you are able to keep up on the blogging. Take care :)
Hi Honey! It's great fun reading your blogs, except the part about the razor wire made me a little nervous. Glad you made it safe and sound. Keep the postings coming, it is so fun to hear about your travels! Take care, Sweetheart. Love you!!!
Yup, you have got to keep your wits about you Like everywhere else, there are people who prey on tourists. These guys typically hang out at borders, train stations, airports etc. A general rule is to ignore people too eager to help you. Most cambodians are nice, I'm sure. You'll soon be able to spot the cheats from the everyday folks.
yay! this sounds awesome! i wish we were closer to actually be able to meet up somewhere in our travels. i'm writing now from athens. just got here 2 days ago from roma...loving it! we're having so much fun and just trying to take it all in too. there is so, so much to see and do. i can't even begin to tell you about it yet. it's been pretty effing hot everywhere here too so i'm pretty dark (tan) already. going up the coast to the beach today and tomorrow to the island of hydra. can't wait to share pics and more detail soon. glad to hear you are still safe, well, and happy. talk to you soon!
lovies, eliza :)
p.s. we got your phone message right before we left-we were at emilio's grad party. sorry we couldn't chat :( hopefully when we get back...
Hey Clausen-
Great to hear from you! I was getting a little worried since it had been a while since your last blog, but it sounds like you're having a fantastic time. I hope you're able to get some under water pictures while you're diving.
Write more when you have a chance.
Take care,
CDub

Good to hear from ya' Chris,
It is great to hear from you. It sounds like you are having a blast traveling the Asian world. It is good to see that even in your blogs you make me laugh, particularly your parts about dumplings and "lady friends." I am looking forward to seeing the pictures that you have taken during your trip. continue to rock out and enjoy the life that you have right now. I would say "be safe" but f*ck it lifes short, enjoy it while you can.
Trevor
:) i'm so happy to hear from you! and, that you're safe. thank goodness. this sounds so awesome, chris. i'm so glad you're enjoying yourself over there and experiencing everything you can. take care of yourself and good luck finding your true love over there. you know, our good friend thom likes to say, "true love waits." and he's not talking about sex (or lack thereof, as the christians would like to believe with their abstinence. speaking of abstinence, yesterday moz turned 48. can you believe it?!).
lovies!
eliza :)
World Traveler Hi Chris- so glad to hear that you are having a wonderful time! Thanks for the travel blog, it is fun reading about your trip! Miss you! xoxoxo
Flippin' awesome Chris. I'm so jealous. It sounds like in just the time you've been there you've experienced so much. I can only wait to see pics and hear about the rest...much love and be safe!
get a job, hippy! Wow, Chris, it's been a long time! And what a wonderful surprise and way in which to hear from you!
Say more about your plans, where you're going, and what got you here for those of us out of loop, please. I'm back in PA, right where I started before grad school . . .
I think you'd enjoy Goa for reasons I'll leave unsaid. That's the last place I went when I was in India. There are beautiful beaches, wonderful food, and interesting things to see. And you could meet a lovely European ex-pat or tourist.
I can't wait to hear more. Be well and keep the updates and pics coming.
All the best,
Iain
